I just had an email from my mom. One of her best friends who has been battling cancer for 20+ years has some sort of blockage on her upper GI tract and is going in for exploratory poking around. It might be a gall stone, but then it might not. My mom is driving out to Indiana to see her this weekend.
Then just now another email appeared and a friend of mine in England's mom, who has been waiting for a diagnosis, etc on possible pancreatic cancer has found out that the tumor surrounds some major blood vessels and is inoperable and they're almost sure that it is cancer. She's in the hospital for the weekend with a drip to reduce her jaundice then she'll have a stent and then who knows.
So it's not a happy weekend. Pray 'em if you got 'em.
