weather.com is predicting rain, maybe even thunderstorms.... for 10 days from now. Oh yeah. Sure. A Prediction based on what, exactly?
They do that to give us hope, I know. I'm to the point where I've seen them predict it too many times to believe it. Anything over a day or two in the future is what, when I worked in the business world, we called a WAG. That's Wild-A** Guess.
OK, this is bad. I'm even cynical about the weather.

Sheesh, they are giving us a 60% chance of rain.
After the bought of hot weather we just had, I don't really think of rain as bad weather.
I don't think of rain as bad either. That's what I meant when I said they do that to give us hope. I meant that they are making us hope for something other than drought!
