Greek mythology and the baby's a prodigy
DS2 came home with his journal from school. There were a couple of days where he drew pictures, but didn't get around to writing stories, so his teacher sent it home with him. Last night, he was gazing at his picture of people with wings on their arms and there was a sun in the picture, so I told him the story of Daedalus and Icarus, then wrote the names down for him and he wrote his journal about that.
"Once upon a time Daedalus made some wings. Icarus flew too cos (close) to the sun. And then Icarus fel(l) in to the ocean."
And below is the baby's first known work of art. She got a pen and a piece of paper and started drawing. She's a genius! I wonder if I can get this to scan so the stuff printed on the other side isn't as obvious.
