What's the difference?

Between scattered thunderstorms and isolated thunderstorms? Cause we're slated to have scattered ones on Thursday and isolated ones on Friday. We've started already on the fall weather here; it's only 85 or so everyday! Apparently, there is a cold front coming in tomorrow or Wednesday and we'll have highs in the 70's. Brrrrr. Get the woolly hats out.
