Muddying the waters on the MMR/Autism debate

Turns out the doctor who published the study in 1998 that made thousands of people stop vaxing their kids.... MADE STUFF UP and faked data and just basically lied and then phblished his article and made everyone freak out.

I hope they string him up by his.... fingers. Nothing like a fake scientist to do worlds of harm to real science.

And where...

the HEEEEEE is my checkbook? I don't even know when I saw it last, but I have to pay the water bill, which means the garbage bill will be here soon, too. ARG

ETA: I was just looking through my bank account online and see that i haven't used it since early December, the last time I wrote checks for garbage and water. Just about everything else I pay online, except the odd field trip or pizza.

I was going to get some work done on my book. DH took my computer. I hadn't copied it to my thumb drive since starting on the next version, so I'm pretty much left twiddling my thumbs.
